Iron Pines began with a simple truth: sometimes the world breaks you, and healing doesn’t come easy.

Founder Cory Edwards is a survivor of a school shooting—an experience that shaped his path and his purpose. Rather than run from it, he chose to serve others impacted by trauma, spending over a decade working with at-risk youth as a middle school educator.

Through those years—through grief, struggle, and quiet resilience—Cory found healing in the outdoors. In the silence between trees. In the rhythm of moving forward. In knowing he wasn’t alone.
